Deployments: Cribben deployed three times with the 716th Military Police Battalion. He deployed to Egypt in support of Bright Star in 2005, to Afghanistan in support of Operation Enduring Freedom in 2006, and to Iraq in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom in 2007.
Cribben deployed to Afghanistan with 2nd Battalion, 10th SFG (A), in September of 2017.

Survived By: He is survived by his wife and two children – ages 3 and 5. He married his high school sweetheart in 2008.

SFC Stephen B. Cribben died as a result of wounds suffered during an operation in Logar Province in Afghanistan as part of Operation Freedom's Sentinel.
