Lawrence G. Ferguson
Brigadier General,

United States Army 

BG Lawrence Gilbert (Gil) Ferguson CG, 1st Special Forces Command (Airborne),

Fort Liberty, NC. BG Ferguson is a career Special Forces Officer from Mississippi. Upon graduating from the US Air Force Academy, Gil commissioned as an infantry officer and served in 3/502nd Infantry Regiment in the 101st Airborne Division. Gil served as a Detachment Commander in 2nd Battalion, 20th Special Forces Group (Airborne) and 3rd Battalion, 7th Special Forces Group (Airborne) where he also served as Headquarters Company Commander.

 

Gil later served in a variety of positions in US Army Special Operations Command and later commanded 10th Special Forces Group (Airborne). Gil has served as an operations officer in the Joint Staff J37 Deputy Directorate for Special Operations, Executive Officer to the CG, US Army Special Operations Command; Chief of Staff at 1st Special Forces Command (Airborne) and US Army Special Operations Command (Airborne); ADC-O at the 82nd Airborne Division and Director of Operations for CJTF-OIR.

 

Gil and his wife of 29 years, Renee’, have three sons: 2LT Lawrence Ferguson, a Field Artillery Officer; Duncan, an Army ROTC Cadet and a junior at University of North Georgia; and Dylan, a sophomore at Savannah College of Art and Design.

Dan Brokos
Sergeant Major (Ret),

United States Army 

Daniel J. Brokos is a retired United States Army Special Forces Sergeant Major with over 26 years of active-duty service. During his career, Dan was assigned to the 10th Special Forces Group, European Command’s Crisis Response Group, and 1st Special Warfare Training Group among others. While at 1st Special Warfare Training Group, Dan was the NCOI of Range 37.

Now in the civilian sector, Dan founded Lead Faucet Tactical to provide marksmanship and tactics training to military units, law enforcement, and civilians. Additionally, Lead Faucet Tactical provides product consultation and endorsement services to companies within the outdoor space, as well as providing written material and evaluations to firearm industry publications.
